Rayong town is a bustling market in the east of the Gulf of Thailand which is rich in pearls and beaches on the island. This town is 220 km from Bangkok. is an information center on the east coast and even Cambodian border towns. An old fishing village is right in town, operating in an industrial way. Rayong is famous for making fish sauce.

About 20 km away, Ban Phe, a bustling fishing port with women wearing sarongs, black shirts and a papyrus hat with shrimp under the bright sunshine. Off the coast, Ko Samet Island is famous for being beautiful with the finest fine sand in Thailand and pure blue water.
